• Where do I get a helmet and pads?
    When registering you have the option of renting equipment through IMLAX. Rented gear is picked up at IMLAX offices, refer to the IMLAX gear rental page for more details. Equipment can be also be rented through Tribal West. New gear can be found at Tribal West, Dick's Sporting Goods, Scheels and other sports gear stores. Sideline Swap online and Play it Again Sports are good options for used gear.

  • When does the season start and how long does it last?
    The Fall season practices typically start in mid-August with the first game being played the weekend after Labor Day. Fall is a five game season with a one week bye. Spring season practices start in early March. We play at least 7 games from mid-March until before Memorial Day.

  • What days are games played?
    Games are played on Saturdays for the most part. During the Spring Season there may be one or two games that are played on week nights.

  • How do I register, what are the different fees, and how much does it cost to register?

    • Players register on the Intermountain Lacrosse site

    • Fees include:

      • Intermountain Lacrosse Fee (Covers costs such as referees, field lining, equipment for goalies, lacrosse balls for each team, coach education and certification, etc)

      • Herriman program fee (Covers field rentals, coaches reimbursement, equipment such as Lacrosse goals, cones, etc)

      • Uniforms

      • Optional gear rental

    • Early Bird Registration is $120 for K-4th grade and $140 for 5th-8th grade (Typically starts late November and ends in late January). Recommended to register early and save and also take advantage of the monthly payment plan

    • Regular registration starts late January through late February and goes up $10

    • Late registration starts in late February through early March and includes an additional $20 fee

  • Are scholarships available to players in need?
    IMLAX and Herriman offer scholarships to players in need on a limited basis. If you, or someone you know, would benefit from a scholarship due to hardship or other unforeseen circumstances, please contact Herriman Boys Lacrosse for more information.

  • Why do I need a US Lacrosse membership?
    US Lacrosse is the national governing body for the sport of lacrosse. All players must have a current and valid US Lacrosse membership in order to participate in any league activities (practice and/or games). US Lacrosse Memberships are now included as part of the IMLAX process. These 1 year memberships entitle you to secondary insurance for any injuries incurred during team lacrosse activities. Membership also includes a 12 month, monthly, subscription to Lacrosse Magazine.

    US Lacrosse has resources to learn more about the game of Lacrosse. There is a Parents section and a Players section where you can learn the basics and what to expect.
